    OOps, looks like you made your selection and I should have rolled through the replies. How is the Vie Long working for you. Looks like a great handle and some heft with the metal ring.

    It is working well. I needed something longer that wouldn't bang into the sides of my scuttle and the VL does a good job even with my CVS green box soap puck.

    The only thing I don't like is that it's still "pinchy" compared to the badger brush I got from The Whipped Dog. But not so much that I won't use it. The badger is a shorty I use for travel. Makes a lather in a palm in no time flat.

    My 50 dollar budget is used up. But once I finish getting the hones and a few more razors I will try to find a badger with the right length for the Georgetown Pottery scuttle.mName:  ImageUploadedByTapatalk1373458179.839797.jpg

    TBH I haven't read this thread from beginning to end, so I may be posting something that has already been said ...... Semogue boar brushes are cheap and good IME. When the budget allows ;
