Once again, a very timely SRP thread! Thanks for the tips guys.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 13I've probably had a dozen or more TGN knots pass through my den and still have 8 or so that are permanent residents. The best value is their Finest which performs great, has a minimum of scritch and looks good to boot. My favorite for performance and face feel is the grade A. I have two super silvertips which don't quite please me as much but they are in custom handles that do so I leave them there.
Like all natural products, there is some variability from batch to batch.
The people at TGN also provide great service.

Thanked: 11All I have right now is a 24mm grade A that I love. I have a gently used 28mm HMW on the way from Steve.
