I have to say though, I ordered the 22mm boar hair knot from them just to see what it would feel like...price was good. I've been thoroughly impressed by it. I don't have another boar hair knot to compare it to, but I can't wait to use it...it beckons me every day now...needy little hog! I just bought a couple of the high mountain whites because of the post.

Once again, a very timely SRP thread! Thanks for the tips guys.
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Thanked: 13I've probably had a dozen or more TGN knots pass through my den and still have 8 or so that are permanent residents. The best value is their Finest which performs great, has a minimum of scritch and looks good to boot. My favorite for performance and face feel is the grade A. I have two super silvertips which don't quite please me as much but they are in custom handles that do so I leave them there.
Like all natural products, there is some variability from batch to batch.
The people at TGN also provide great service.
