Thanked: 13I've probably had a dozen or more TGN knots pass through my den and still have 8 or so that are permanent residents. The best value is their Finest which performs great, has a minimum of scritch and looks good to boot. My favorite for performance and face feel is the grade A. I have two super silvertips which don't quite please me as much but they are in custom handles that do so I leave them there.
Like all natural products, there is some variability from batch to batch.
The people at TGN also provide great service.

I have run the gamut of them and have found you get what you pay for. I, personally, only would consider the 2 banders and the grade A's as well as their boar knots, which are very good, IMO.
High mountain White, eh? Do they have that in 30??"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
