Default Is this website i found a good place for a custom brush?

I found a website for custom brushes from a guy named Dan at tamwoodworks.com. Has anyone ever bought a custom wood brush from him? Does he turn out quality products?

    Welcome to SRP.

I haven't heard of Dan's but there may be something on it on our forums. You could do a google search and where it says "more" on the tool bar select "discussion" and it will come up with forum posts from all of the shaving forums if there are any.

I can tell you that I bought a custom brush from pixelfixed that is as good as any I've had and he has some in the SRP classifieds.

Thanks much pixelfixed, i have found the pictures of his work to be quite stunning. But of course reviews from other customers/aquaintances are always a great tools for quality assurance.

I have a few brushes by Pixelfixed as well. They are incredibly beautiful and the badger he uses is top notch. They hold an incredible amount of lather. If you keep watch, you'll find he uses some very rare and beautiful woods as well.

Yeah,,,,,,Yeah,,,,,,,,, I have a few brushes from this Pixel guy,,,, .
Someone twisted my arm & I was forced to buy a few.

.......I'll have to admit though, if I were stranded on a deserted island with only a Pixel brush & a handfull of coconut husk to lather with,,,,,well I guess I would choose the Pixel brush,,,,,

Just stay away from the ones he makes from depleted uranium. It's not really depleted and you might start growing some weird appendages.

Custom brush? Google "Rodney Neep" and check out his "Dreadnought" brush....absolutely awesome.
