PCW knots
I know that everyone here seems to use TGN knots in their builds. I've used them myself and they are very nice.
I was wondering what people think of the knots from PCW (PC Woodcraft).

Thanked: 13245Maybe I am missing something, but I found a 24mm Silvertip and only that one knot
To me it looks exactly like TGN's Standard Silvertip offering in 24mm
Please link me if there are more but I sure didn't see them

Thanked: 1184There is a horse knot also. With no back bone. 24 /67.
I have 2 brushes from China that where made to my specifications but I haven't road tested them yet :<0) The both of them were half that price. Here is the thing,,,,TGN knots are to be trusted. If I find another supplier and I die before the brushes wear out, I will let you know.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

I think I've seen maybe 1 or 2 folks who have gone the woodcraft route and I don't remember the consensus but it wasn't anything special at best.

He has carried more in the past, but I haven't ordered in a while. Maybe he's using TGN knots now.

Thanked: 2284Just to add, the 20mm black badgers from Leevalley I've used. Nothing special there either but still get the job done. The 20mm BB from TGN are much better.

That's good to know. Is that Lee Valley as in Lee Valley Toolworks?
