    Those are beautiful. What is the wood on the brush in the upper right corner?

    Red heart. I had bought that piece of wood 10 years ago and found it at my parents. I had forgotten I even had it. It really is beautiful stuff. Problem with it, is it losses it's color in the light. A uv protection finish must be applied to retain that bright red.

    I dunno. I really like that yellow color. It seems to bring out the grain.

    oops! You meant the yellow one, my mistake. That's Big leaf maple burl. It never fails to impress when I get it all sanded and finished. One of my favorite burl woods.
