Thanked: 2284Sure I can. But you'll have to wait until after the 29th when I'm back home. I'm in Phoenix Arizona by the south mountain on vaca.
The vacuum setup I use is very, very basic but does better than just wiping on an oil. I recently purchased a full fledged vacuum pump and am going to build a proper chamber for proper stabilization. Should be fun.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

It's one of these that I use with a pickle jar. 5/8 hole drilled in the lid with some marine teakwood oil as my liquid of choice.

Thanked: 2What a lovely brush. Great ingenuity. Thanks for the heads up on the oil vacuum too. My best friend is getting married soon so i'm doing him and his future mrs a his and hers set - will be using this oil trick!
