    Marine grade is a joke,some advocate that,WHY.
Marine grade epoxy will set up under water, has nothing to do with water resistance after it is cured,is the same as non-Marine grade.
I have never set a knot under water.
I have set many hundreds of Knots,to my Knowledge, non have fallen out.
So what would Davy Jones do when he makes a brush and has to set a knot in his locker???
