I like clear acrylic a lot for brushes and this is no exception....but a few brushes back someone mentioned the adhesive showing....I don't think it was a clear acrylic so was not quite as noticeable. To me here it does detract from the clean look of the brush and mixes clarity and symmetry with a blah color in a gooey shape.....I would not write this if I haven't admired so many of your brushes, especially the acrylics. An opaque acrylic would take care of the knot.....I don't know about paint...is that what has been used in the past? I've been chatting with Tom (Sharptonn) about this very thing. He gave me some ideas that I really liked, to finish the inside cup and hide that epoxy. I've also had a brief chat with another Brush maker about using clear epoxy, but even that you can still see so that doesn't really solve the problem. I will usually ask the owner what their preference is, which makes it easier on my end, but the next brush I do with my own guidance I'll be trying a suggestion Pixelfixed gave. Sanding to 400 or 600 which will give a brushed or opaque look. The last 2 brushes I have done have really showed off the epoxy on the inside, and I'm also not 100% sure I like it.
