Thanks Tom. The shape turned out kinda 60s sci fi to me.
Lathered with it today, and it whipped up a treat.
Figured you took the misses away for the weekend. You were off the grid most of the weekend.

I particularly can see the thumb and forefinger on the 4 layers of taper and the palm against the end.
    Face-lathering beast! Very nice.

Mike, was that supposed to be the less desirable tortoise? Makes a super looking material for the handle....and scales....Hoo Boy, looking forward to those. Looks like you could have jammed 5 inches of floppy horse in that handle to brush the hair off someone's white nylon cape...uh, like in an old timey barber shop. Excellent save!

That is some great work. Being a big fan of tortoise shell things, I'm quite the envious at the moment.

Thank you good sir. : chapeau
The less desirable tortoise material from mascraft was the sheet, not the rod stock Bill. The rod, while brittle, yielded a nice result. Kicking myself for only ordering a small length. Need more to try again at faster speed.
I'm finding the sheet, while more spotted than tortoise doesn't look too bad when you put two pieces together. Using it on that Estas rebuild.
