Titebond 3. ANSI/HPVA type 1 water resistance, FDA approved for indirect food contact, holds like a rock. Problem with urethane glue like gorilla glue, its bonding strength is relational to the clamp pressure used on it. It is difficult to clamp a knot in a socket.

Thanked: 2284Titebond 3 is the cats azz, love that stuff. Just did a 96" x 18" Douglas Fir outdoor counter top with it. Wouldn't trust anything else for something that will see so much weather. The harsh Canadian seasons should be a good test for it.

Thanked: 4206E6000 is great stuff as well, just a little solventy smelling as it dries. And a slower cure@ 48 hrs.
In my experience, the slower the cure, the stronger the finished bond in most cases as it pertains to chemical adhesives."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."
