What glue do you use?
What are you using to glue replacement knots back into a brush handle?

I have used the 5 minute epoxy you can get at lowes.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 2284Yup, any of the two part epoxies are what you should use. I know some use Goop with great success too. I prefer two part epoxy though. Makes sure you rough up the bottom of the knot plug before you epoxy it in though. It will help with the epoxy to hold onto something. I've had a few let go that I have not done this to. I'm not exactly sure what happens, but a rough surface will have a better chance than a smooth surface. Also, make sure you set the knot deep enough in the handle that it doesn't turn into a floppy mess. Just putting the depth of the plug in is not deep enough. An example is, a 24mm knot I generally set it deep enough to get 48-52mm loft. That's 48-50mm of hair above the handle.

I've used Gorilla Glue. it works great you just have to use it very sparingly because it expands a lot as it dries.

Speaking of Gorilla Glue, they sell a two part 5 minute epoxy like the ones mentioned in this thread. It is NOT an expanding glue, like the standard Gorilla Glue. I generally use it, or Devcon, whichever I can find first.
