    Default First brush

I've been wanting to make a brush for a long time now. I am waiting on a cheap Chinese knot off ebay to practice for when my shavemac knot arrives. I finally have all the chucks, jaws, forstner bit, turning tools etc to be capable of turning a brush. My first attempt will be a "chubby" style made from cocobolo, to match my wootz razor from Bruno. I'm waiting for now to actually have the knot in hand so I can get the depth just right, but my jacobs chuck and forstner bit seem to have worked! More progress pics when things start coming together.

I realize it's only roughed into a round shape at the moment. I'm just too excited to not share.
