I can see why your Dad likes this wood Andrew it is beautiful! I have another blank a bit larger to turn and more to cut up.

Decided to revisit this, I was getting ready to finish this one up and decided the more I looked at it the less I liked it. Went with a reshape and I'm much happier.

I want a lathe but I am so very afraid that it is a giant rabbit hole. I am glad that others post there work.
This handle has a very appealing shape.
