Looking forward to seeing the finished product. If I had a 3D printer or CNC machine (and knew how to use them) I would be making all sorts of stuff in bulk.

*Finished* product, I say finished because this is dry fitted straight out of the printer, I might do some sanding and I will for sure be glueing it together!

Honestly I don't usually polish 3D printed parts! I prefer to leave the layered texture in there because i think it looks cool!

If you want a super smooth surface finish it will polish the exact same as ABS because well it is ABS, but an even better way is to drop about 3500 on and SLA printer, those things print a mirror finish. (I'd recommend the formlabs form 2)

I seem to remember seeing 3d prints made nice and glassy using heated acetone vapors(or something similar).

It came out great. I've never held the brush that is based on, but it looks very nice regardless. Any closer pictures to show the finish/texture?
    Thanks for posting!

That's pretty sweet my friend. But, if it were mine, I'd smooth it out. Just me, but it looks cool in it's natural state as well. Nice work!

I'm leaning that way as well actually, Im gunna polish up the inside or a hidden spot first and see how it goes
