Thanked: 7Ultem trio
Recently made two Ultem handles for my favorite knot/knots BOAR! Today I complimented the brushes with a "show me"stand for my straights.. Here they are, that's a 7/8 Greis & Co Solingen full hollow sitting on the "show me" before I flame polished it.

I love the amber color of the Ultem.
I don't ever recall seeing brush handles made from it.
Those are beautifully made pieces and great designs.

Very nice. I too have not herd about this material. And i like the idea on the razor stand. I had tried a couple things along the same idea, but was never happy with them.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Well done! I've been considering ultem for some time now, it's good to see someone has actually used it.
I always thought it would be cost prohibitive, as well as obviously unnecessary due to the intended purpose of the material, but I guess the same could be said about brushes made of bronze, copper, titanium, etc, yet there is definitely a market for these items.. Interesting times for wet shaving indeed. As the time passes, so we learn.
