That is an amazing brush! I would love a brush like that.
Shaving with facial hair is like a golfcourse. It's a challenge of rough and fairways. You are the skilled greenskeeper of your face?

Great looking brush, any clue on what the weight is?

Aluminum is light however when they fabricate the stuff they can make it dense and surprisingly heavy.
You might think about getting that anodized in a color. That would really look cool then. The Aluminum will tarnish over time and turn black otherwise. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thank you for all the comments everyone! It was my first brush, and I didn't think about anodizing or weight reduction at the time of making it. Its not too heavy to use though, I actually think its quite comfortable in the hand (like using a heavier 7/8 or 8/8 blade instead of a 5/8). I knew that it would be heavier than the standard brush handle, but I was alright with that. I haven't ever seen an entire metal handle so I knew thats what I wanted to do. Its a shame damascus bar stock is so dang expensive... Maybe one day..
As for the weight, I got it all weighed out on a little digital scale and compared it with a plastic brush handle (22mm knot).
PLASTIC handle 22mm knot = 53.9 g, 1.90 oz, 0.119 lbs.
ALUMINUM handle 24mm knot = 126.1 g, 4.45 oz, 0.278 lbs.

Thanked: 480Very nicely done!
And I love the fact that you re-purposed a thread cutter into a radius turner!
Was it a tool steel cutter, or HSS? For aluminum either is fine, but if its HSS you can use it now for almost anything you desire!

Very very nice man!
Mastering implies there is nothing more for you to learn of something... I prefer proficient enough to not totally screw it up.
