Was it a tool steel cutter, or HSS? For aluminum either is fine, but if its HSS you can use it now for almost anything you desire!

It was HSS. It was just 1 of a set of 4 that are used to thread pipe in a pipe machine. When they have been resharpened several times they loose tolerance so they get pitched in scrap metal bin. Then I waddle by it a couple times a day and look it over for any treasures. They also make great set up blocks, spacers and a whole bunch of other stuff
