like others have said .. id turn it into a finished product .. kinda cool ...

reminds me of in 7th grade we were running some boards through a planner and noticed some spots in the board .. turned out being a #4 or #6 size lead shot .. someone prob was shooting at a squirrel , judging from the pattern in the board id say they missed ...lol

That is amazing I worked one summer at a lumber mill in Burney Calif, before the logs got peeled and sent to the gang saws they all got scanned with a magnatrometer (SP) you would be amazed at the things they find, chains, cables, pullys, all sorts of stuff.

Enjoyed reading through this thread. Unit, I hope that brush makes it's way to you. Enjoy it. You'll never know if whoever put that bullet there was aiming for that spot, or was a bad shot, either way, I'm sure that person never suspected it would end up in your hands helping you prep your face for a shave.

Possibly a British Sten left hanging in a tree or he parachuted down & didn't make it.

Close, it's a Swedish K or as we say Kpist M/45!
Some one went out to take a nightly leak, left it hanging on a branch and in the morning no one could find it.
