I got a book called Thor for Christmas, so I'm reading that.
It is an autobiography about the Norwegian cyclist Thor Hushovd, who won the World Championships and a dozen or so stages in the TdF.
Good read!Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Got a book from wifey. The lion of the north.
It's a history book about Gustavus Adolphus of Sweden and times in Finland and northern continental Europe during 30-year war (1618-1648). Pretty interesting in this little corner of the world.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

As usual, Science fiction of the near future by a prolific writer, and rereading it for the umteenth time since publication:

Just as renowned author L.E. Modesitt, Jr. explored the connection between science and art in his widely acclaimed novel, Archform: Beauty (Tor mm May 2003), he now delves into the insidious relationship between science, advertising, and politics in his thoughtful and entertaining new SF adventure, FLASH.
Most of his science fiction books are in my library at home and are reread often. He has a canny knack of writing the future as a comment on the present...before it happens.

Just finished All the Pretty Horses. It took me a while to get used to the writing style, but I really liked it once I got into it.

Thanked: 603Kim Stanley Robinson's Galileo's Dream
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.
