Unbroken.....felt like 2 books to me, war and post war....I preferred the first part but saw the need for the second. Overall, a great tale of tough individuals, and on multiple levels an important book.
Also since I haven't posted in awhile, finished up: The Laughing Monsters by Denis Johnson, Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, and Frank Sinatra in a Blender by Matthew McBride."Call me Ishmael"

Thanked: 116I'm currently preparing a lean six-sigma green belt certification, so I'm reading boring stuff on the way to work.
To change my mind on the way back, I'm reading the few bits of Discworld I hadn't read yet... currently halfway through Men At Arms.

It's so easy and other lies - Duff McKagan
The autobiography of the guns and roses bassist. Fascinating read. I'm an obsessive guns and roses fan, and have found this book to be the most objectively written and honest account of events that ripped the original lineup apart.
