I'm onto James Michener's, "Hawaii" and, "Space" in a couple of days, can't remember if I read them long ago, but will find out when I get into the story.

Rereading Kings Dark Tower series. Currently on book 3. Last time I read the series there were only 4 books. By the time he had written the rest of them I had almost completely forgotten the finer points.

A pleasant change of pace by going back to a simpler world.
"Featuring the Saint." By Leslie Charteris. Old time daring do with a polished robbinghood.
While written mostly in the twenties and thirties, somewhat before my time, I cut my teeth on these novels of sainthood from the time I could almost understand the wonderful double entendre generated by the hero!

    Featuring the Saint
And for bookstore crawlers looking for a read to while away time:
Leslie Charteris The Saint books in order of publication for information and sales

As always, Alibris usually has a few copies of the Saint novels at rock bottom pricing.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

What did you think? I usually love books like this but work has been so busy I don't want to waste my time on a mediocre one!

I really am not one to read books. I read this book in a couple of days. I almost could not put it down, One night I started reading it about 8pm and realized it was 2am when I put it down, the only other books I read like I did this one was the book about Capt Phil Harris (Deadliest Catch Fame) , Capt Phil Harris by Josh Harris and North by North West by Sig Hansen all three of these books I read in a couple of days.

With all of the political bovine excrement on the television I may read a lot more books on my Kindle paper-white

I read the Hunt for Red October in a couple of days once but I have really not found anything since that makes me want to read it. The book The Ghost Ship is sort of dry to get into, but then it gets really interesting.(at least it did for me) I might read Flags of our Fathers again.
