Just finished Finest Hour by Michael J. Tougias, which is the basis for a movie coming out at the end of January. It is the true story of a Coast Guard rescue off the coast of New England that was so miraculous it almost defies description. The book is short and fast moving. I always read books before I see movies which always take license with the facts to make things more visually interesting.

More to the point I listened to them. I usually do Audible on my way to and from work. It takes me a long time to read a book and I rarely have the time to sit and read, except for the 2+ hours of commute a day.
Some good stuff there! Haven't read Phillip K Dick in years. Have to climb to the top of the bookshelves and see what else is hiding up there!!!
Recently pulled out Robert A. Heinlein " Stranger in a Strange Land " a true classic.

Been on a Bolaņo kick lately, so much so I actually decided to teach a section on "Antwerp" this fall. Aside from that, just finished Hemingway's "A Farewell to Arms" for the nth time and moved on to Lu Xun's "Call to Arms/Wandering".
