I am reading Mark Twain's autobiography, the complete version that he didn't want published until 100 years after his death. After reading five of his novels this year the biography should be illuminating.

After watching the movie American Psycho I went to the local library and got the book. And I must say the book makes the movie look like it’s for kids…

Just finished The Martian. Haven't seen the movie but I'd swear when I read his dialogue I could hear it in Matt Damon's voice. The book was sharp and witty. The humor was spot on and wished it to go another hundred pages.

    Really?
Well, with an endorsement like that, I just put it on hold at our local library

I listened to that on Audible, the narration by R C Bray was perfect.

I am currently reading Graham Greene's The Power and The Glory, to the kids I'm reading Boy by Roald Dahl.

Reading the third Twin by Ken Follet, I really like his stuff. Got hooked on him with The Pillars of the Earth and Hornet Flight

Good stories, good writing, but a bit of a downer.
Obviously will be reading the following two volumes shortly.
Just moved onto Book 2, The End is Here. Good stories, so far.

Recently read Sandburg's "Abraham Lincoln Prairie Years" then "Lincoln" by David H. Donald. Just started "Washington - a life" by Chernow. Also started "City of God" by Saint Augustine and have Franklins "Autobiography" on the night stand.
