You are welcome to borrow it!

I want to let it digest and reread about 1/2 of it in a month or so.

Just finished vol 3 of the Apocalypse Triptych "The End has Come." Overall, a good read, if a bit of a downer.

Then moved onto "It's So Easy" by Duff McKagan. Entertaining read.

Now listening to "Wayward" by Blake Crouch (audiobook). The first one (Pines) was fine, and for the price (free at the library) I couldn't complain.

I am around 100 pages into American God's by Neil Gaiman. The story looks like it will be about gods brought to North America by immigrants, now forgotten, trying to be relevant again.

I read A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms by George R. R. Martin a couple of weeks ago. This week I've been reading Mark Twain's Roughing It.

I've now finished the Wayward Pines trilogy, Blake Crouch (audiobooks from the library).
For the price, I enjoyed them.
I'm now onto Solar by Ian McEwan. Another audiobook from the library. Not sure yet about this one...

    Back to Science Fiction.
Reading "Ringworld" by Larry Niven. It is being reprinted with others of the series. I read it first about 40+ years back.

I await the latest space opera from David Drake; due in the post tomorrow.
    "Death's Bright Day"
There are now about 11 rollicking stories in the series. It is one of two series which I have in hardcover.
David Drake – Science Fiction & Fantasy Writer

The other hardcover series being the, near future, stand alone novels by L.E. Modesitt Jr. of things to come.

    Happy Reads!

Just finished A Hero of France, the newest of Alan Furst's WWII era spy novels. It was just what you'd expect from Furst, a good story and well written.
