What were you saying about the mirror ? :<0)
I am on the tail end of that group and learned to watch early. I watched the older kids start dying from over doses in the 60'a so I didn't do drugs. I talked to the older kids when they came back from the Viet Nam war and I missed out on that. Then when it all became ,all about me and the money, I stepped back and said oh sh!! here we go. Now what do we have ? A big group trying to live the good life till they die and the next group wondering how they are going to pick up the pieces. And it's not like they have any ambition, but who could blame them. The game seems to be played out. The big question is, when does a new game start ? And who is going to control it ?

Dear members. This is a conversation forum for intelligent conversation.

So if you feel strongly about commenting on a political issue, it still pays to use your brain and come up with a rational argument instead of spouting the stuff that gets shouted through the microphone during the pep rally of the party of your affiliation.

I liked it. And, as a "Gen X'er". I'm agreeing with these Millenials.

I love it. They video did forget to mention twerking. I will say that my children will say the same thing and so will their children and so on and so forth. As 10Pups said life is a game it never ends only starts over only the players change.

They're children of their time as we all are... but the 60s rock!

Yes more of the late boomers and early Gen X'ers.

but who could blame them (how about taking a little personal responsibility for ones own situation).
The game seems to be played out (it's never played out until your 6 feet under).
The big question is, when does a new game start ? And who is going to control it? (this will be the Millennials first and most important decision to make).
10Pups, I hope you don't mind I interspersed my comments beside yours. I did it to reflect how we can both be part of the same generation but have very different experiences leading us to this same point. Not unlike what happened to our parents. And not unlike what will happen to the next generations.

You may have the impression it was easier for previous generations. Granted it may have been for some based on a different set of economic conditions but not for all. The one thing you must do is persevere. If you allow the current state of affairs to hold you down then you will surely fail.

I trust you know that this is also an indictment of the early Gen X'ers as well.

As for the Millenials my only comments to them are as follows:
1.) I agree we did a bad job of managing this world but we're also responsible for some of the living comforts you currently enjoy.
2.) We did a horrible job as parents of not properly preparing you for the inherent unfairness of life or teaching you better coping skills.
3.) Will you learn from our mistakes?
4.) What are you going to do about it and when?

It's easy to sit back and blame your situation on us dummies but that's no reason to do nothing. You got a lot of heavy lifting ahead of you so best get at it. Here's hoping you get it right.

Keep your concentration high and your angles low!

Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.
