Hawaii truely is a melting pot and I should be it's mascot. My ethnic background is : Chinese, Japanese (so I guess that makes me Korean...lmao), Filipino, Portugese, Irish, Spanish, Hawaiian and also either German or English (we found Smith Blood in our tree and are researching it now)
That's pretty cool. I don't know much about Hawaii. So there is a definite group of people recognized as native Hawaiian? I guess my question is : is there still a group of "pure" peoples recognized as natives? or does everyone have a mix of ethnicity?
