    Default River Monsters

    Just in time for Halloween.
    I have been watching River Monsters, a show on Animal Planet. The premise is the host, Jeremy Wade, travels around the world catching really big fish that have a reputation for causing human deaths. This show is different from most reality shows because it has educational elements AND the host actually knows what he is doing. Sensationalism and corniness are kept to a minimum. Last night I watched an episode where Wade was fishing for Bull Sharks in a South African river. The sharks were targeting fish being reeled in by sport fisherman, just a short distance from swimming areas.

    This has me wanting to do some Muskellunge fishing.

    This should be a clip from the Bull Shark episode. Sorry but it starts with a short commercial.
