Funeral Today, moving soon?
They held services for my FIL today with full military honors graveside (WWII fighter pilot). It was beautiful. I nearly broke down when the Active duty soldiers saluted him as the hearst pulled up.
Unfortunately this now means my wife and I must make some sudden decisions. This was my FIL´s house and my wife repeatedly refused to let him sign it over to her in the past because she didn´t want to be unfair to her sisters. Now the house is part of the estate and we have to decide whether we want to try to buy out the other two sisters or just move out and allow it to be put up for sale.
Her older sister & family, the one who is usually very "by the book", is surprisingly being the understanding one in the matter. It sounds as if they´re willing to work with us either way.
Her younger sister isn´t speaking to us for some reason. For this reason I think we may have to try to move out asap and just let the house be sold as is. This is unfortunate because this house could turn a huge profit after some fundamental repairs.
So, we may have to work on moving soon. If so I´ll be very busy and will have only infrequent internet access until we get the move settled. It may be just a few weeks, It may take a couple months. I´ll be checking in as often as I can.

Thanked: 79Wow, Glen,
Sincerest condolences to you and yours, will pray things work out with your family also. It's nice to see they did the full honors for your FIL also, as it should be. I've been on those details myself in the past, and it really was nice when we could present full honors.
Truly a great loss.

My sincerest condoleances. I wish you and your family strength in these hard times.
I know that inheritance issues can rip a family apart, so I hope everything works out peacefully.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
To spit in Sightblinder’s eye on the Last Day
