Etc etc etc... So there will always be SOME beer in the mix. I guess it's about accepting a certain level of impurities (either #6 or #7) as pure vodka and not worrying about it.
I'd definitely like to try it to add to the century club, fun and games with funnels and kegs and a few card games.

My first year of studying for my engineering, degree, one of my profs (ENG-101) told the following story:

An engineer and a mathematician die and go to heaven. St. Peter takes them into a white room with a doorway, and tells them that behind the door is a beautiful, naked starlet. The only rule is that you can walk halfway to the starlet, then you half to stop; then walk half way of the remaining distance and then stop; etc.
The mathematician immediately sat down, because he knew that he would never get to the starlet. The engineer ran for the door, because he knew that he could get close enough for all practical purposes.

Your professor would be in big trouble telling this to the students to day - what with sexism, objectifying starlets, etc.
