    just to salty in general, I like to taste the dough in the pretzels too. That is the main point of a pretzel

    But what if you were going to de-ice roads or your sidewalk with pretzels?

    Depending on the size of the pretzels, 4 extra salty ones per square foot would probably work well.

    Yes this may be an effective solution,
    I personally prefer to de-ice using the warm weather method

    The only time we have ice on the roads here is when you drop the cooler pulling it out of the back of your truck. Since you just busted several cans of beer on the ground, you aren't too worried about the ice.

    And we're back to pretzels!

    Surely that depends on the ambient temp and pretzel size. Use the following formula:
    Melt = amb temp X pretzel area X %salt covering on pretzel.
    Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

    Don't forget once you get down to degrees zero, the salt doesn't work on it's own anymore. So you would need a calcium fortified salty pertzel
