Can't they just let the past be what it was an is and stop trying to erase any trace of it, now they are renaming streets, school dormitories, changing school rally songs, and banning display and sale of those items. who's asinine idea was this

Hoo Boy, don't get me going on this one...recently the town I live in which has a statue of a Confederate soldier facing south in the state of Maryland. It was dedicated in 1913 by the DOC. Suddenly, someone sees it as a monument to hate and they want to take it down or relocate it. A freaking monument of hate? How about our history.
