You know, time after time we hear about how cops (especially white cops) either harass or bully and even kill people of color but rarely do you hear about how they take time out of their day to help someone of color.
While this encounter did start with a white officer wondering what a young man was doing in the middle of the night in an industrial area, what follows is what the majority of police officers are made of, whether they are White, Black, Hispanic, Asian or any combination of:
I will add my admiration of that young man's dedication not only to his work but his resolve to get there on his own.
I hope all will enjoy;

Local cops are vilified by the schmucks while the folks in the "hoods"are screaming for protection. Does this tell us something? The creeps are teasing the cops all the time. Check some actual confrontations and when cops ate shot at traffic stops and on the street, ain't all the cops' fault.
I were a cop and had college kids causing mischief. But the locals were strongly behind us. Imports from other countries were trying their views on the population and we're shipped home after serious crimes... to be Hero's to the locals there.
