    Well thats a seperate equation, your melt (in microgallons) would be used as the first part of the equation, you would then calculate the fluid volume of the amount of ice you had to melt, divide fluid volume by melt and establish how many pretzels you will need

    Mustard would certainly increase the salt content. But Mustard in itself is slippery so I wouldn't use it as an ice melt.

    Ok lets just say 3 pretzels per square foot of ice assuming it is less than 2" thick. Apply more if required. I am assuming we are talking about the large bready pretzels, rather than the small bar snack type of ones.
