Anyways, hope to see a good game. I take a polite stand and say let the better team win. Hope luck has nothing to do with the game (if it does, you Canadians really have no choice).

What i comes to today's game i think USA gave up too easily. Maybe the game was too soon after yesterday. It was great to see Teemu Selänne finishing his career in our national team so great.
Both gold and bronze are the medals you win but silver is the one you get by losing the game.
Let me enlighten you - Finland has more in common with Canada than you might think! Both are relatively small Nordic country's (population wise) sitting square beside a super power. And both nations are relatively ignored because of it! Your love for Sweden would be akin to me hoping the Brits won were they playing because at one time they occupied my country lol!!

Ok that's the best I could do with my little knowledge of the region... I know it's weak so let me work on an emotional level - All I do know was, when I visited Finland, I felt like I was home!

Don't tell anyone, but even though I live in the States and I have two Yankee kids, I still secretly was rooting for Finland today. I would ask for your good vibes too !

Love that perspective and so true. I'd like to see Canada win, obviously, but at the end of the day the best team at that moment in time wins. Good luck to both teams.

I just hope the mens team have the heart the womens team had in winning the gold. The way they started the last period I thought they were finished.

Yes, and yes. So far at least.

This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Couldn't agree more. Teemu has been nothing but a class act right from the day he came into the NHL with my Jets, and I have nothing but respect for the man. Congrats!

All I can say is Lundqvist is a god! But no one can take that much pressure, and hence... CANADA!!

I think the Swedish team is better than the score indicates so far and don't deserve a possible shut out but there is still 4 minutes to go.

Well that goes at least some way towards easing the pain from '94. Nicely done Canada, and congrats on your silver Sweden.
