Breaking Bad (to the bone)
When a broken leg seems like it can't get more irritating... I feel a tick crawling around and getting itchy underneath the cast last night. Couldn't quite get to it. Morning trip to doctor. Old cast off. Tick revealed/dispatched. New (hot pink) cast on. I need a drink.
At least I got the grass cut Sunday.

Man, that really sucks! But it's sure good that you realized that there was a tick, and not just an itch...things might have gotten ugly.
I try to be respectful of all of Nature's creatures, but I absolutely despise ticks. As far as I'm concerned this is too good for them:

You need to put a bar across that illustration turning it into a "No" symbol. Sorry for you leg. I am still recovering from a broken hip, arm and dislocated wrist from last May. I feel your pain.
The easy road is rarely rewarding.

Thanked: 1936Glad you got it before it dug in deep, broken leg could have been the least of your worries. They aren't out here "yet", but it is only a matter of days as snakes are coming out.

Thought you may get a kick out of this. This company can turn digital images of your x-rays into something you can put on your cast.

Glad you got the tick taken care of.

Another use for FlexSeal. Hit the area where the edge of the cast meets the skin and you're good to go.

I agree on ticks. When I remove them I have urges to kill them in a dozen different ways in sequence knowing that they're dead once. I have a hatred for them like nothing else.
