By accident I watched the teevee show Duck Dynasty just tonight for the first time. It reinforces my disdain for television, even more for reality shows, even more for the average intelligence of our American tv watching folk, hilljacks or not. They made the Beverly Hillbillies look like a quality production.
Anyway, to the point, I tried a full beard, way back when, couldn't abide the itch. Moustache lasted maybe 15 years though. Reason is styles, and some laziness, but trimming around a full beard was like shaving anyway

The part that doesn't fit with the beards on the young men is their complete disdain for body hair....go figure. Clean shaven everywhere else because "body hair is gross."
The easy road is rarely rewarding.
