Well, first of all the source here is renowned for lies, half truths and gross exaggerations. So you need a reliable source. Even if it was true the USDA has numerous Law Enforcement Arms. Why should they be out gunned?

Why should they have firearms to begin with?? Department of Agriculture.

I agree Siguy...sounds like BigSpender has a 'Bias' against the news source that linked to the Government site?

Just a quick look at USDA responsibilities reveals, the US Forest service is under the USDA and they are tasked with patrolling the Coronado national forest a few miles from here that is over run with drug smugglers carrying AK-47's and such. That is not the only wilderness area administered by the Forest service that abuts our border to the south. I think it only fair that our law enforcement folks are equally well armed...
