    I love this thread, here are my favourites:

    the term useless git comes from the piece of a mould pour that was knocked off after a canon ball was poured
    you are berried 6 foot under because this is the minimum depth a wild animal will not be able to smell your carcass
    the term cock up comes from the cock fletch on an arrow, when it was accidently put to the bow side and then let fly it would hit the bow and go off target
    it is not possible for a human to lick their own elbow..... half of you are now trying to lick your elbow....

    Glad I got these off my shoulder.....
