Thanked: 4830It's articles like that that remind me I do in fact live in paradise. I know there are guys on the board that live in hot dry spots that never get snow, but it's not hot and dry here and there is not really much for snow in the winter. It works for me!

Thanked: 4830It's a temperature issue for me. Plus if I worked at a station like Gimlley I don't think I could take it. It only snows when it is cold out plain and simple. I don't mind it when it is at my convenience but I do choose the rainy winter and above freezing temperatures. My job has me traveling at between 30 and 40 mph in an open boat. there is nothing that would make me want to do that at -20.

That's why they call it, "Winterpeg", freezing cold, tons of snow and Mosquitos the size of hockey pucks with fangs..
