I leaned a fun one today for you Zippo freaks.
Tiki Torch fluid will work in your Zippo.
Long story short but my son were stranded in the woods after deer hunting for about 4 hours. Our lives never were in danger and we could have walked 1/2 mile or so to the nearest house if needed. He locked his keys in his truck and we could get cell reception at the top of the hill. While he walked to the top of the hill to call his brother to bring his spare keys I wanted to start a fire. I had my Zippo in my pocket but it was dry. I had some old strike anywhere matches but they were old and useless. Pondering my possible actions I remembered at the other end of the camground were a couple of torches that even after they burn out have a little fluid in the bottom. Not much to loose so I gave it a shot. It takes about 8 fast strikes of the flint to get it going but burns OK and by far good enough to get a fire started!
The fire made our wait much more pleasant.
I got stranded on an island with my son one time also. Should I take a double hint?
