Interesting. When I read stories like this it makes me wonder if there are 1000 surviving ones???
I got my Rocket to flame longer. I just have to have patience and let it soak and rest between lights.

Thanked: 8626Seems the wick lights right up and heats up the tube. This causes rich fluid from the bottom (?) of the reservoir to be drawn up fast, thereby causing the 'jet' flame. Sort of why the Coleman stove's generator crosses the flame path. Hot metal and gas!
