These last (traditional cleaning gloves) are great for toughness but typically give up almost all tactile qualities and fit like galoshes.

Don't need a lot of tactile qualities when cleaning the toilets & picking up leaves,,,

I like to use leather(mainly deer hide) when soldering or brazing. They usually last about 1 month with daily use. I used to be able to get a 3 pack for about $10. Now it is $10 or $12 for one pair. When gluing (pvc, etc.) I typically use cheap fabric gloves with a rubbery type coating on the palms and fingers(sometimes nitrile if I am out of the others). Nitrile gloves for general automotive. I usually buy 10 packs of the brown jersey gloves for winter. Welding gloves for welding. The pair I have now are Hobart gloves but I would like a better pair next time as they are coming apart already. Any suggestions?

Bigspendur, did you work as a bouncer?

Deer hide ones also work well for roughing out Kuskas. 6"F here today. I am going to finish it inside.

I'm going to look for some deer skin this weekend. We had to move cut brush from the archery range last weekend & I had to give my best leather, probably cow, to my son. I got stuck with cotton gloves.
