I understand. Once mine were fixed I felt 100% again with increased motion and no pain. Recovery was not difficult except they said not to lift more than 7-10 lbs for 3 weeks. I didn"t think that would e a problem until I realized how many things in everyday life aren't marked with their weight.

Well,,, it was not meant to be funny,,,, it was meant to be helpful, as I know nothing of Medicare, at least not for a few more years,,, I had forgotten just how old you are & when you mentioned an illness & I know your a veteran,,, then the first logical thought to me was the VA,,,,so there ,,,,,,,,

Thanked: 37Hi, back in 1980 I had inguinal hernia. I practiced karate, I went to the university (medical sciences) checked the library (no internet). It recommended surgery. After my operation I did about a year going to te gym and rehabbing my abdominals. It worked. Wish you health, brother.

BUMMER!
Although I'm not a surgeon, I've certainly seen my share of inguinal hernias. In my experience, surgical repair is by far the preferred treatment, UNLESS there's some other condition present that is a contraindication for surgery, or the patient declines surgery.
What's the situation with you, pixelfixed? When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.
