I quite like my job. What I hate is our government telling me after 35 years in the building industry that I need to apply for a licence to do what I do, $600, then I must pay an annual fee $180, and I must go on refresher courses, read pamphlets, earn points and do even more paper work than before. And if I am a good boy, might get a gold sticker. It really is doing my head in.

Not to get off topic - but it's like the laws in Pennsylvania where a motorcyclist doesn't have to wear a helmet, but I have to wear my seatbelt in my car or I'll get a fine. Their moto "click it or ticket" dip !@#$
Can't figure that logic out for the life of me.

Wanted to ad BOOOOOOOOO! HISS! to your comment

Experience means nothing anymore. Just a way for Government to weed out small business and make some money while they're at it. I'm sure it's not that simple but on the surface that's what it seems like
