    As a Vet from the Nam era, I'm proud that with a few exceptions our Nation has radically changed how it feels about those who have served. I had a friend and a cousin who were spat upon as they arrived home from Nam.

    Today corresponds with Canada's Day of Remembrance. Here's a couple of links for ourselves and our norther neighbors and friends.

    Thanks for this thread, and the new badge. I just watched a streaming version of the NYC Veterans Day Parade in which my son is marching as a CG officer. Quite a show!

    Also looking forward to the concert tonight in Washington DC, for which HBO is providing free access for cable or satellite subscribers whose system operator allows it.

    I was in the Army in the early- mid 1970's who was lucky enough to stay state-side while others were at more risk. Served at Ft Jackson, Ft Gordon, Ft Meade, Ft Dix and then as a reservist. Worked after that for many years at VA, serving our Nation's veterans.
