Right now Costco has Single press organic maple Syrup grade A dark from Canada. They only carry this time of the year.

Interesting that they carry it this time of year. In the spring, where I work, you can see smoke in the sky all over from the Mennonites boiling their sap. It's a big thing around here.

That must be a regional problem. The real deal (grade a dark amber) is for sale year round here. Not cheap, though, and we eat a lot of it.

Well, I guess if I had to make it, $13 a quart would start to sound pretty cheap.

Amazing how fast it goes. I hadn't had it in years, bought a bottle and made pancakes, French toast ....... 2 sittings and damn near half the 8.5 oz bottle was gone ......... but it sure was good !

Costco sells the standard Maple Syrup year round it's the grade A dark amber from Canada. The other is always sold around Thanksgiving and when it's gone it's gone until next year. I was just looking at the bottle it's 25oz single press and comes from a farm 20 km east of St-Robert Bellarmin.
