I don't like to admit I have one. I didn't deliberately get one. It was forced on me by my kids when I was going through cancer hell because they couldn't get ahold of me one day and panicked. It only costs when I use it, which is rarely. That, and using a computer made me lose my Luddite status. I am now listed as a demi-Luddite.

I sell them. As well as other technological wonders. Im typing this from my phone. If it weren't for work I wouldn't have one. The only people I really talk to on the phone is my wife or my mother

Don't know how I got along without a smart phone. Life is just that much easier. All I ever get on the land line are solicitors. Only reason I keep it is that it's free

Yeah, a 10 or 20 year generation gap makes a big difference. Today's youngsters and their parents seem to walk around with their face in their brains, it sometimes seems? Tried a smartphone for a week. It seemed too much for me!
