Thanked: 0Thanks for all of the compliments. I am blushing reading everyone's praise of this pen. I wanted to thanks Ilija for this commission. I learned a lot while making this particular pen, and look forward to having opportunities maybe in the future to make more pens for this great group of guys. Thanks again.

You are thanking me?!
This pen is probably too good for the likes of me, but I'm glad I have it

What I have to offer in return pales in comparison, but here it is:
I didn't get to take it to the hones yet, but I will tonight if I'm not feeling too sick.

Thanked: 0I'm sure it'll be a great shaver, and I can't wait to have it. Ilija does good work too.
And yes, Ilija, I'm thanking you. Why? Because without it, I wouldn't have gotten back to the lathe for a while, and may have forgotten how much fun it really is, even if I did glue your pen to the mandrel with CA....oops :-/ . Like shaving, the lathe is one of my "Zen Zones". The world disappears when I'm there. I can just turn and enjoy myself, generally without getting bothered by anyone.
Now I'm just trying to figure out some Money Making ventures. Anyone know where to get brush knots? I'm going to try my hand at brushes and bowls soon, I think....maybe.
